Prices quoted include: concrete box and top, engineered media, hardwood mulch, internal underdrain system and clean out, plant, standard tree grate. Delivery to job site, activation (installation of plant) and one year of maintenance are also included. Prices exclude: offloading, installation and sales tax (where applicable).

All prices quoted without seeing plans will be for standard Filterra stormwater units and will exclude additional cost for any modifications or options selected.

Ordering

Please contact your local Filterra sales representative for ordering details. We will require a completed credit application, signed quotation, and set of Filterra plan sheets.

Delivery and Weights

Standard Filterra units are generally available in 4-6 weeks. It is the contractor’s’ responsibility to off load the units, which requires a spreader bar and also a crane in some cases. Please see standard weights.

Filterra units are most often installed in the same manner as curb inlets/precast underground structures. The unit comprises a box/vault containing media and separate top slab.

Activation

Filterra units are only activated by the Supplier (cost is included). Activation includes the installation of the plant(s) and mulch layers. The activation process cannot begin until the project site is fully stabilized and cleaned (full landscaping, grass cover, final paving and street sweeping completed), negating the chance of construction materials contaminating the Filterra system. The purchaser is responsible for Filterra inlet protection and subsequent clean out cost. Care should be taken during construction not to damage the protective throat and top plates.
