While the technology behind the Filterra system is complex, maintenance is not. Unlike competitive systems, a standard maintenance agreement is included with the purchase of every unit and detailed maintenance records are kept and updated after each scheduled maintenance.
Although the first year of maintenance is FREE, an extended maintenance agreement is available. Allow the experts to continue to maintain your Filterra unit(s), and you won’t have to worry with scheduling or record keeping.
After your first year of free maintenance you may choose from the following options to ensure your units are operating correctly, as well as to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
1. You may purchase extended maintenance services from the experts at Filterra. Filterra keeps a record of maintenance performed on each unit while under such contract. These records include: a photograph of each unit and maintenance detail (amount and type of sediment and trash removed, plant height, width, and evaluation, and additional field notes observed). These records are available to the owner or any inspector upon request.
Filterra maintenance includes: unit inspection, debris, trash and mulch removal and disposal, filter media evaluation, plant health evaluation, replacement of mulch, and updated and stored records of performed maintenance. This option ensures you meet your record keeping obligations; the simple solution for site owners and property managers alike. Costs vary depending on project scope. Please refer to extended maintenance contract below for additional information or you may contact usp>
2. You may purchase an onsite maintenance demonstration. Included with every standard demonstration is a Filterra maintenance training DVD which covers all aspects of the maintenance steps needed to meet our specifications. Cost varies dependent upon geographic location.
3. You may purchase the Filterra maintenance training DVD for instruction on how you may perform maintenance yourself. Please contact us for additional information.
