Stormwater Support Engineer

Job Description

Filterra® Bioretention Systems, a division of Americast, Inc., is seeking an ambitious design engineer to work in the Ashland, VA office for its expanding Filterra stormwater treatment products division. The successful candidate will provide product and technical support to consulting engineers, government agencies, and developers as well as to the Filterra production and sales teams. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Practicing knowledge of stormwater hydraulics/hydrology with emphasis on site grading and design of stormwater drainage systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational skills
- Technical writing experience a must
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Proven ability to work in a team oriented environment

Education, Certifications and/or Other Requirements

- B.S. and/or M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, P.E. preferred
